Coming from a unique career background in management, publishing, and audience engagement and marketing, Ynes holds a special blend of business and creative skills. She has more than a decade of experience in publishing operations, spanning traditional industry and independent small press. Ynes served as Content Director on the board of a professional nonprofit from 2020-2022, and on the Writespace board of directors from 2023-2025. She is a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) and an instructor whose workshops include “Marketing Minus the Self-Loathing.”  She led Creative Central, an online group encouraging more than 800 emerging writers, from 2019-2021. A voracious hunter who loves finding hidden gems, Ynes is the publisher of the first book in history written by an Armenian-American lesbian.

A.C. Bauer is a northern-bred cryptid most at home in a good dark forest. He prefers communicating by inhuman chittering, but writing is a very close second.​ He is your average author caricature. When he's not writing, he's complaining about writing. When he's writing, he's complaining even harder. Summoning him is as easy as leaving a cup of coffee unattended (or saying, "Pspsps, I've written a fresh new white-haired trauma twink for you."). He developed a passion for fantasy in early childhood, concerning librarians and classmates alike with the number of books he devoured in any given week. Ever since, he's endeavored to channel that passion (and his queer experience) through his own creative work.
